Open Up Sheffield

At its heart Sheffield is a city of makers and is famed for having one of the highest concentrations of studios outside of London. This provides space for all manner of artists and makers across the city and beyond. Building on this incredible asset, Open Up has been celebrating Sheffield’s cultural vibrancy and showcasing some of the city’s up and coming artists and makers for 25 years. As well as the annual Open Up event we run exhibitions and seek to promote collaboration between artists and makers.

Visit us

Open Up welcomes you to visit artists and makers in their studios showcasing their work over two weekends. This annual event allows you to visit working studios, talk to the artists and makers and have the chance to buy original pieces of work. We include studios from a wide range of artforms including painters, ceramicists, printmakers, embroiderers, sculptors, jewellers and more.

Art in the Park • Leamington Spa

Royal Leamington Spa’s Art in the Park Festival is a free curated arts festival with a difference. We showcase, sell and provide live demonstrations from artists and craftspeople in Warwickshire and the Midlands. We celebrate independent local and regional food and drink. We programme the best live music, dance and theatre from our own doorstep alongside nationally and internationally renowned companies. We do it over 2 days in August in the beautiful surroundings of Jephson Gardens and Mill Gardens.

Art in the Park is a Community Interest Company. We rely on the generosity of our sponsors, the good-spirited nature of our volunteers and the thousands of artists, performers and visitors who take part. Our ambition is to champion, challenge and inspire. We are passionate about all things creative, love where we live and encourage you to be part of it.

We can't wait to see you for Art in the Park Festival 2024 on August 3rd & 4th 2024

Art in the Pen • Skipton

Art in the Pen is a well established and highly regarded art and craft fair that runs each year at Skipton Auction Mart. From humble beginnings, the event has developed into what many now consider to be the North's leading art event.

Back in 2005, Art in the Pen started out as a relatively small number of artists transforming cattle pens into galleries to sell their original work. The organic and informal nature of the event really captured the attention of visitors, who now return each years. Today, Art in the Pen has flourished into a sprawling event, with an abundance of creativity and craftsmanship at every turn.

The continued success of Art in the Pen is partly down to its relaxed and friendly environment. The events are a great way for visitors to strike up conversations with our artists and meet other art and craft enthusiasts. Whether you're a collector or buying for the first time, Art in the Pen provides a wonderful opportunity to discover new, emerging and established talent.
