Now in its 22nd year, Open Up Sheffield is a well established annual open studio event, where artists and craftspeople welcome the public into their workspaces. These vary from private homes to mixed studio complexes, across Sheffield and surrounding areas. Open Up Sheffield gives the public an opportunity to see work in progress, ask questions about materials and processes, make a purchase, or commission a bespoke piece of artwork.

Only 10 minutes from Chichester with spectacular views over the Sussex Downs, the event will start on the 15th May at 5pm with a Private View, and then open all weekend on the 16th & 17th May 2020.

£6 Entry Per person – Open to the public – Free entry to children under 12

£6 Entry Per person – Open to the public – Free entry to children under 12

Returning for a second year at the world renowned Goodwood Racecourse in the heart of the picturesque Sussex Downs, over 100 exhibitors will be situated throughout the two main halls of The March Stand with 1000’s of artworks for sale. Within the Galleries & Collectives Hall, browse the works from each of the Galleries and Collectives best artists. Within the Independent Artists Halls, experience over 80 up and coming local and national established artists, each of whom you will be able to meet over the weekend.

Spread over 3 days and starting on the Friday evening at the Private View, visitors will be able to browse their favourite artworks with a glass of wine, and be the first to view exhibitors collections before the event opens at the weekend to the general public. Prices of art start from as little as £50 for prints and smaller works to over £5,000 for outstanding masterpieces, so there will be something to suit every budget.


Buyers purchases will be packed by our specialist wrapping team artPAKK an eco friendly alternative to bubble wrap.

Weekend facilities include a downstairs bar in the Galleries Hall, a first floor bar and full café / restaurant serving tea’s, coffee’s and food throughout Saturday and Sunday. The venue is wheelchair accessible and small dogs are also welcome although we do ask that they be carried whilst inside the venue.
